Well.. my chubby boy fits better in the side snapping diapers I have. So I decided to try to make him a side snapping diaper.... my first attempt is not so good lol. The basic idea is there but this one is too big for Joshy. ALso I havent figured out how to close it up once I add all the elastic. For some reason my brain just cant understand how to do that. But Im not giving up! So.. stay tuned for more attempts lol

I think by looking at it. you would from the front make straight, no elastic for the look of a nice diaper and put elastic in the back real tight, from side to side. If the snaps to not hold you may want to go with somekind of hooks to close the diaper. The front material should not be as wide as usual since you are not using elastic in the front.
