recycled wool longies

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
I made these pants a long while ago using a sweater Doreen had given me but forgot to take pics of it.. then it was either in use or in Tiras room so I could never get a picture of it. So I was packing up stuff to put in the attic that doesnt fit Tira anymore and thought I need to take a picture cause D wanted to see! So here ya go D! LOL These did fit Tira great. They were long on her but I just cuffed the bottoms and they fit perfect. But now.. the rise no longer fits :( Everything else still fits.. but not the rise.. just like in her diapers.. So they must get packed way for our next bundle of joy :) i have others I made I need to get pics of but ..... they are in her room and shes sleeping LOL so again i cant take pics of them right now.

awww, so cute! you know if you have any of the sweater left you could take out the waist band and add it to the top to make the rise longer. . . just a thought.
I make my longies with a super long rise so that I can fold it back or use over a very bulky diaper.
Another thought if the legs are still a little too long is to redo the crotch and make it deeper with the existing fabric.
Or you could do as you're planning, lol and save it for the new baby!
